Kate Middleton chose a dress by ISSA to wear at the announcement of her engagement to Prince William

Kate Middleton chose a dress by the London designer ISSA to wear at the announcement of her engagement to Prince William. She appeared with the Prince in front of the media at Clarence House, the London home of William’s father, the Prince of Wales. Kate showed off the blue sapphire engagement ring that had belonged to William’s late mother, Diana Princess of Wales. The knee-length, long sleeved blue jersey silk dress is one of ISSA’s most popular, ready-to-wear styles and has been a best-seller since 2005.

Daniella Helayel, the Brazilian born designer behind ISSA, said: “We are very flattered that Kate chose to wear ISSA. She is a beautiful woman and looked fantastic. We wish the couple well.”
