Ain't no beauties like the 90s beauties! Models come and go but there will never be 'Supermodels' like Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss among others.
Take a look at the models nowadays there as young as 14yrs old and stick thin, they don't even need to be pretty as long as their tall enough. Hardly any of them have the beauty of supermodels from the 90s, unless they are Victoria Secret models.
In the 90s the models ruled the fashion industry they were in fact Supermodels, who could forget Linda Evangelista once saying ' She doesn't get out of bed for less then $10,000 a day'. Well with beauty like her's why not?
They took over music videos, Freedom and Too Funky by singer 'George Micheal', Wicked Game 'Chris Isaak' (Model Helena Christensen), Please come home for Christmas 'Jon Bon Jovi' (Cindy Crawford) and Prince even wrote a song about Cindy Crawford 'Cindy C'.
Back then we hardly saw celebrities on front covers of fashion magazines it was usually models (which I prefer). Models back then came out looking natural, no photoshop and still stunning, nowadays everyone is digitally made to look perfect, whereas photographers had to mainly use light for perfection back then.
The 90s supermodels are still successful and have branched out to be powerful businesswomen and have empires behind them. Some models such as Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss still walk the runway and still are featured in campaign Ads.
Just goes to show, 'Age ain't nothing but a number' because there still gorgeous!
